Israel Trip Daily Bible Reading

In preparation for our tour, I have divided the most relevant scripture passages into a series of daily readings so that these passages will be somewhat fresh on our minds in preparation for our upcoming trip. These readings should take no more than 15 to 20 minutes per day are linked so that you may read right from your computer. Set to begin on December 20, these readings will end the day before we leave and include the principle histories of ancient Israel from the conquest of Canaan until the Babylonian Captivity (Joshua-2 Chronicles) and the life and times of Jesus Christ (Matthew - John). Departure from MCI on Continental 2208 at 6:03 am. Arrive in Newark at 9:37 am. Depart on El Al at 1:30 pm

Day 2 March 11 FIRST DAY IN THE LAND

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport 9:45am. Tour: Independence Hall, Jaffa.

Overnight at the Gilgal Hotel in Tel Aviv or in Netanya.

Day 3 March 12 JEZREEL VALLEY DAY

Touring: Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Tel Megiddo, Nazareth Overlook only.

Overnight in Tiberias. Hotel TBA.

Day 4 March 13 GOLAN HEIGHTS DAY

Touring: Tel Dan, Banias, Mount Bental, Tiberias, Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Overnight in Tiberias. Hotel TBA.

Day 5 March 14 GALILEE DAY

Touring: Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Nof Ginosar (Jesus Boat) Boat Ride, Jordan River.

Day 6 March 15 DEAD SEA DAY

Touring: Masada, En Gedi, Qumran, Beit Shean, Up to Jerusalem.

Overnight in Jerusalem: Hotel TBA (Crown Plaza or similar)

Day 7 March 16 OLD CITY DAY

Touring: Schindler’s Grave, David’s Tomb, Upper Room, Zion Gate, Jewish Quarter, Wohl Museum, Temple Institute, Southern Steps.

Day 8 March 17 NEW CITY DAY

Touring: Rabbis Tunnel, St. Anne’s Church, Lions Gate, Yad Vashem, Jerusalem Model and Shrine of the Book.

Day 9 March 18 FREE DAY IN JERUSALEM

Free day to shop in the Old City.

Day 10 March 19 YOM YESHUA…JESUS DAY

Touring: Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, House of Caiaphas, Garden Tomb,

Farewell dinner in Abu Ghosh and transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for flights home.

Depart on El Al Flight.

Day 11 March 20

Arrive at EWR at5:30am. Depart EWR at 8:30am on Continental #2641. Arrive in KC at 11:12am.
